Lashing Systems & Services

Medway Sling was set up in 1962 to supply wire to Chatham Dockyard. Today we still work closely with the shipping industry, providing not just wires and rope but also making and supplying heavy-duty straps, tarpaulins, covers and ratchets to protect, lash and secure cargo on ships.

Loading & Securing Cargo

The Medway Sling team is experienced in loading, handling and securing all types of cargo including hazardous, valuable and fragile goods such as cars, explosives, drilling platforms and wind turbine blades. We can arrange and supply all the straps and associated hardware needed, and be on site to load and unload cargo anywhere in the world.

Load Straps

We manufacture and supply webbing slings, endless round slings and load straps in standard sizes, or can produce bespoke items to suit customers’ requirements. All slings and straps are labeled, traceable and conform to all current legislation.
