Medway Sling Facilities
Medway Sling is based at Test House in Strood, close to Rochester, Kent.
The facilities here have grown with the company and now include offices, a shop, workshop and testing area.
Workshop & Stitching Room
Our large workshop is well equipped to make, maintain and test rope, chain, webbing and wire products. We also have two stitching rooms with hand and automatic sewing machines to stitch all lengths, widths and strengths of webbing.
Shop
The Medway Sling shop is well stocked with lifting hardware, rope, chain accessories and other ancillary goods. We’re always happy to welcome customers here, whether they’re a new client with a bumper order or a neighbour needing a clothes line.
Testing Area
We have a large outside testing area where we conduct Proof Load Tests, LOLER inspections and other safety checks on lifting equipment and machinery including cranes, winches, gantries, lifts, loaders, excavators and jacks.
